The headline story of this website is stating that Coventry is investing £1 billion on two universities within the area. This gives a positive representation of Coventry as it indicates that they are developing and improving their surroundings and education for students to then go on and achieve their wanted grades. It also shows a wealthy investment being put to good use. The picture that comes with the headline has high key lighting and shows a variety of antique buildings within the area like, for example, the cathedral. The high key lighting gives connotations of Coventry being seen in a better light now that they are developing and improving important aspects of their city. It also gives students the opportunity to learn in new facilities that will contribute to the success of their university course.

It tells us about how social media has allowed us to, over time, has taken over our lives and has been made to be an essential part of everyday life. Although social networks have widened our horizons and have allowed us to explore and discover new technologies, there are also many negative effect due to this. One of them being an addiction so social media in which we are not able to go without looking at our phones for a day and feel like we have to keep up to date with the latest networks in order to fit the 'social norms' and fit in with others.
This video points out the flaws with media outlets and encourages us to live our experiences in reality and not through the screen on the phone. It tells us that socialising by talking to one another is now seen as an issue if it's not through a phone; we make relationships through technologies that we may not even be able to maintain if we were to interact with people when they are in front of us. Technology has gathered momentum and fears of children becoming hooked at such a young age is also becoming an increasing issue that has risen.
It shows us what it would be like without having a phone or social media there to comfort you. It shows us that we need to be there in the moment and make memories with real people in real places instead of staying in one room isolated from the rest of civilisation because social media has has this effect on you. Making memories is grand and should be appreciated. Although technology has been greatly appreciated by millions around the world, we mustn't forget that it is an artificial world that we as humans have created, but the real world is still outside.

Events
The 2016 Oscars is a major event that many celebrity actors and actresses attend as their big night. This event displays many of the talents Hollywood (and the rest of the world) has seen. It is a chance for actors and actresses all around the world to attend an event that recognises them for their amazing achievements throughout the years due to the films they have been a part of. Leonardo DiCaprio finally won the award of best actor after six nominations and this was the "headline" story of the Oscars. DiCaprio is well known for his films such as; Titanic, Shutter Island, The Wold of Wall Street and after the release of the Revenant he was awarded best actor. The picture on the front page of the Daily Express shows us the joy on DiCaprio's face as he walks up to get his award. The photo also has Kate Winslet in it, as they are hugging. This shows us the close bond they had after both being in the film 'Titanic' which many people thought he would win an award for in the first place. However this does show the hard work and determination that Leonardo DiCaprio has put in over the years, and it has massively paid off for him. The caption underneath stating that 'Winslet toasts Oscar winner DiCaprio' has a very positive representation as it shows a very close relationship between the pair, but also shows that this award is long overdue for the actor. The language used is very informal, making it sound like we know the actors on a personal level as they refer to them by their second names only.
Target Audience: 25s to 50s
Socio-economic grouping: Bs and below
Gender: can be for both. leans more towards females due to his performance in his films as an attractive male.
